Pelvic Health Specialty Service Fee
Pelvic health physical therapy requires extended one‑on‑one treatment time, advanced clinical training and certifications, and a private treatment environment to ensure patient comfort and safety. To provide the highest level of individualized care, a Pelvic Health Specialty Service Fee of $80 is applied to each one‑on‑one pelvic health visit. We do accept insurance for pelvic floor therapy and will bill your plan for all covered services. The specialty service fee allows us to maintain the private, highly specialized care environment that pelvic health treatment requires.
Why is there a Pelvic Health Specialty Fee?
Pelvic health care is unique and often involves sensitive conversations, specialized assessment, and internal pelvic floor examination or treatment when appropriate. This level of care requires:
This fee helps ensure each patient receives the focused, individualized care necessary for optimal outcomes.
Transition to Open Gym Treatment
As your symptoms improve, your plan of care may transition to include more treatment in our open gym space. This allows continued strengthening and treatment of any orthopedic or movement‑related factors contributing to pelvic floor dysfunction.
Patients may transition out of the pelvic health specialty setting when:
Your therapist will guide this transition based on your progress and comfort level.
